PLOUGH TWO RUG - Cut and Loop Pure Wool with Gold Wool/Silk detail lines
INSPIRED BY
This rug was inspired by my favourite inspiration of cultivated fields.
The different seasons bring a slightly new colouration to the cultivated fields especially around West Yorkshire.
GRADUATION OF COLOURS
By using a graduation of only 3 colours from light green, medium green and dark green we can achieve a combination of 18 different shadings of colour across the rug.
LOOP & CUT PILE
Loop Pile of 8mm height was chosen as the back ground construction with Cut Pile Gold Wool/Silk lines at 16mm.
HAND DRAWN DESIGN
The design was hand drawn onto the canvas and then the different section of Loop Pile colours were built up to then finally add the Cut Pile higher sections.
