Custom hand tufted dark fade graduated trial sample to show an Ombre effect rug in Wool & Linen

CUSTOM TUFTED DARK FADE OMBRE WOOL RUG

Originally inspired from a trial sample showing a graduated mix of colours from black to beige, this rug was created using Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown and Light Beige. All the 12 different mixes of Wool also had a mix of White Linen to give it a texture and allowing the finish to have an Ombre effect of shading and enhance the gradation of the 4 colours and 12 different colour mixes. Each colour mix section was divided by a thin black line without any white linen to give the line a very clean defined edge which does not “bleed” into the adjoining colour sections.
