Custom circular rugs
Area rugs were commissioned by SEAM Architects to quote for three circular reception area rugs for the SWITCH building in Slough.
Colour matched colour tuft samples
The brief was to colour match the fabric that had been specified by the architects for the seating within the reception area and that they were to be a short contract quality cut pile of 12mm. We provided colour tufts from our collection to match to the CAMIRA Fabrics of the chairs.
Hand tufted samples
Due to the rugs being plain we supplied bespoke samples showing different treatments using Natural Linen and White Linen in a speckle mix to enhance the texture of the finished rugs.
Custom Hand Tufting Rug
We created the three hand tufted circular rugs in our studio workshop in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. All the colours were dyed specifically to order and White Linen was used to give the rugs texture and tone which matched to the seating fabric textures perfectly.
